At a church leadership conference in July 1991, Vineyard Christian Fellowship founder John Wimber taught on ten concepts he called the "genetic code" for churches looking to become God-worshiping, Jesus-centered, and Spirit-directed communities set apart for kingdom purposes. In this book, author Marty Boller takes these ten concepts and discusses, in his own commentary, the implications of them for the twenty-first century.
The Wisdom of Wimber As I See It edition by Marty Boller Don Williams Religion Spirituality eBooks
I am awake again! This book has brought an awakening to my soul that I so desperately needed. While reading this I have realized the importance of letting Jesus guide me to do what He needs done. As Mr. Boller so perfectly states the heart of what John Wimber visioned for the church it opened my eyes to the negative way I was approaching ministry and church. Now, my personal worship time has exploded and I sense God more intensely. I feel more more connected to the Living God and realize that I needed this shot in the arm. I am putting down my personal agenda and getting out of God's way so that he can have the church he intends on having. This book should be taught in every Vineyard.Product details

The Wisdom of Wimber As I See It edition by Marty Boller Don Williams Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews
Should be a mandatory read fro every young Vineyard leader
Reading this book was like wandering off the trail just a little bit and having a friend pull you back to the right path. I had forgotten many of the biblical principals that Wimber had taught which had grown distant over time. Well done! Highly recommended if you need a refresher!
I encourage everyone to get this book, it's an eye opener and keeps on going. Thanks to all of those that took the time to put it all together.
It's been ten years since I have bought a case of books to giveaway. I plan to carry copies of Marty's book with me to give to people that want to live a life of listening and watching what Jesus is saying and doing. If one wants to meet John Wimber then step into this book. While reading I feel like any minute I will look up and hear Wimber say, as he looks over his reading glasses smiling, "That's a good church."
I hope Wimber's writings are clearer. The "As I See it" subtitle is appropriate. I was hoping for a little more Wimber and less Boller.
A fun book to read, especially if you knew John Wimber!
What a wonderful book! Thank you, Marty, for introducing the next generation to the wisdom of John Wimber. I am the pastor of a Vineyard church but did not have the privilege of ever meeting John. I joined the Vineyard after he passed away. Having been touched by many of his sayings, it has been truly inspiring being able to read excerpts from John's talks and hear things that I never knew he said.
