It's truly been awhile since I read a book that I wanted to write a review for, with that being said I couldn't put this book down I read it all in a few hours...that's just how I like them! With that being said the cliffhanger of this book has me anticipating the next book and I hope to god it's not a long wait cause I must keep playing scenarios around in my head where this going to go. Jack Jack Jack...what can I say about Jack....hmmm. Jack is the man that you hate because he cheats and he has such a beautiful thing going with Emily. Emily is so pleasing and trusting and loving to fault. Jack honestly doesn't deserve her love and submission. With that being said I come back to I have to know what's going to happen. The author did a great job of engrossing you in the story. I'm just hoping that either Jack decides that his slave isn't worth keeping or Emily doesn't end up being doormat. They are beautiful together but that being said I'd hate if Emily ends up a doormat and Jack keeps doing what he's doing either way I will read the next book but opinion will definitely not be as good next book especially if the heroine becomes a doormat.

You really don't know Jack, you love him, you hate him,, you Love Emily and her innocent ways, This book held me from page one to the end and I cannot wait till September to get the next book. This story is awesome, takes you on an emotional roller coaster, definitely NOT predictable, no other story out there is like this so it's not a carbon copy of anything. YOU JUST HAVE TO READ IT! If I could guarantee your money back if you didn't like it I would, cause I know you'll LOVE IT.. what a cliffhanger of an ending. will have the second book read in one night as I have to KNOW JACK! great job Michelle! better than great this was fn infncredible. I will be on pins and needles till the next one is out... driving me crazy to wait, but well worth the wait I'm sure... what a great great story or did I say that already lol.... YOU HAVE TO BUY THIS BOOK! YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY.
MAJOR SPOILER ALERT.......Oh Jack...you are a lying cheating bastard with very hardly any redeeming factors....and what an interesting character you were to read about. Unlike so many other bad boys turned good, you stayed true to your nature the whole way through this book, and im so glad. Its great to read about a character like Jack, you want to cheer for him and support him in this book, but its just impossible. I congratulate this author for truly making me hate Jack, and wanting to read more about him at the same time. The last chapter is an absolute page turner so be prepared for a OMG, i need the next book NOW moment. My heart just aches with the knowledge that Jack is about to wreck heartache & havoc on the people in his life, but i so cant wait to read the next installment, hoping desperately he gets his just desserts. You dont know Jack...well people you sooooo should.
Oh my word!! What a book!! I am so tired of reviews that say you will enjoy the said book if you enjoyed Fifty Shades of Grey and the Crossfire series. In most cases I think it's just a clever marketing ploy. So often most of these books are NOTHING like Fifty Shades or the Crossfire series, that is why even though my interest was piqued when I saw Bought for You, when it was compared to these other books I was hesitant to buy it, as so much trash has been written that is advertised as "if you enjoyed Fifty Shades of Grey....." . Well, needless to say I devoured this book over two days and thoroughly enjoyed it. Boy oh boy, I did SO totally not see the surprise/twist!!!! I have recommended it to all my friends. Buy it NOW! you will not be disappointed!After having read Bought for Love I am eager to see what else this author has written as I am definitely interested in reading more by her. Even though there is a follow on to this book, which can also be off putting at times, as this seems to be becoming a trend there is a sense of conclusion to the book which was lovely as it was a sort of cliffhanger, yet still brought the book to a satisfying conclusion.
I waited a few months before writing this review. The book is good not exceptional. The story has been done before and is hardly intricate or overly suspenseful. I thought the writing style and POV made it worth downloading the sample and then paying the bucks for the book. However a big problem that isn't disclosed by Ms. Hughes till the end, is that it is a cliff hanger and Michelle Hughes has given no indication of when or if she is releasing the next installment which hopefully concludes the story.
After 8 months of waiting I think its fair to say this is not a good buy. Stories need a conclusion. Or a reasonable explanation of why there is a delay. Ms. Hughes has released a couple of other books so clearly she is alive and still writing. So I can't recommentd this book since its not a complete story and even if it were free, which its not, its frustrating for the reading.
I had to read this story in one sitting. I'm not going to go into a full detailed book report. There's already several posted most saying the same thing.

I will give you this----If you like dominating men, you'll like Jack. My Jack is sexy as hell and I would be happy to anger him so I can get blankety blank blank spanking. Emily kind of gets on my nerves because of how she gets scared a cowers so easily. However, being as innocent as she is, it's understandable. I just hope she grows more of a backbone, and the way the story is starting to play out I think she will.

The story was just starting to get crazy. Jack's secrets and true character are finally being revealed and other characters are introduced. People that can ruin everything for Jack and Emily. Mainly Jack. That's where book 2 will pick pick up.
Jack is one of the worst characters I've ever read about in a book. He's selfish and has no remorse for his actions. Sleeps with his submissive his entire marriage and doesn't see a thing wrong with it. The age old excuse of "I can't do those things to my wife" is given. Emily is young and clueless and needs to run while she still can. I purchased both books for .99 cents each so I'll guess I'll read the second to see how this train wreck ends.
